Mr. Brandon Brazell » Week of January 29

Week of January 29

Happy Catholic Schools Week!
It was a delight to see so many of you yesterday! I hope everyone had a fun time at the open house.
This week can get a bit crazy, but it should be a really fun week.

In sixth grade, we are currently working on our Alien Vacation projects. They are due this Wednesday, January 31 at the beginning of class. Today and tomorrow's class time will be focused on working on this project. Presentations for this project will be this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

In seventh grade, we are continuing our DNA Comic Strip project that was introduced on Friday. This project is due this Friday, February 2. There will be class time throughout the week to work on this project.

In eighth grade, we are continuing our Rube Goldberg project this week. It will be due this Friday, February 2. There will be class time this week to focus on this project, though it is a very big project so students may need to meet with their groups outside of school.

I also wanted to give an update for Science Fair as well. We are moving on to working on the Final Paper for Science Fair (this is a different paper than the one that was due in December). We are breaking this assignment up into different parts, with the Final Paper due on February 29. This week, we are discussing Tables and Graphs, with Ms. Nissen being here on Friday to help with that. Tables and Graphs will be due next Monday, February 5. We sent home a letter explaining everything that is due and what every piece is. This letter was also posted to Google Classroom and I will create a post on my blog as well. If there are any questions about Science Fair, please email Ms. Nissen and me.

Thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me. Have a great week!
