Week of December 11

It's the start of a new week! Christmas is quickly approaching, and I am very excited.

In sixth grade, we are moving on to Lesson 3 of Chapter 3 this week, and talking about the sun. Definitions and Ten Facts for this lesson will be due tomorrow. There will also be a homework assignment on Wednesday, a Review and Reinforce worksheet. This worksheet will be a helpful study guide for the quiz, which will be on Friday.

In seventh grade, we are finished with Chapter 3, which means we have a test coming up, which will be on Friday. The students have requested a lesson on the moon, so we will be doing that today and tomorrow, then there will be a study guide on Wednesday and a review game on Thursday, with the test on Friday.

In eighth grade, we are doing Lesson 2 of Chapter 3 this week, which is all about machines and how they work. I'm very excited for this lesson. The Definitions and 10 Facts will be due tomorrow, and there will be a Review and Reinforce worksheet for homework due on Thursday. The quiz will be on Friday.

In regards to Science Fair, the research paper is due today at 8am. Hopefully they should all be turned in by now. In addition, it is time to start performing experiments! Experiments should be performed between now and Friday, January 12.
