Week of November 13

Happy Monday! Thanksgiving and the end of the trimester are both very quickly approaching!

As I posted, grades in PowerSchool will not be visible starting today. I have communicated with your students about missing assignments, but if you have any further questions or concerns please reach out.

In sixth grade, we are continuing to work on our space exploration project! I am very excited to see the progress that the students are making. The project is due this Friday, November 17. There will still be plenty of class time to work on this. In addition, we also have our Chapter 2 Test this Wednesday, November 15. We will be completing a study guide tomorrow in class as well as playing a review game. It is my hope that this test should be fairly easy and nothing to stress about. 

In seventh grade, we are currently learning about meiosis, which will take us through to Thanksgiving. The main focus right now, however is on Science Fair. More on that later.

In eighth grade, we are working on our forces project. This project is very exciting and I'm eager to see what the students present. This project will be due this Friday, November 17. Another big focus is on Science Fair as well.

In Science Fair, we are diving in deep! We have many days in class to work on this. I am very excited to see everyone's progress with their projects! I think this is going to be a great success.
