-        - We learned about Roman society and religion.

-        - We examined how the Roman government worked and changed over time.

-        - Next Week: Daily Life in Ancient Rome

7^th Grade

-        - We learned the strengths and weaknesses of the Union and Confederacy and analyzed the battles of the Civil War.

-        - We understood how the Emancipation Proclamation effected Africans Americans in the Civil War.

-        - Next Week: Civil War test on Friday.

8^th Grade

-        - We learned the major events in the Civil Rights Movement.

-        - We made presentations on a prominent Civil Rights hero.

-        - Next Week: Other American groups who struggled to gain civil rights. Civil Rights Quest on Friday.
