Reading - Reread Backpack Page 66 aloud a few times. The Spelling test is on Thursday.

Math - Flashcards and pages 165+166

Religion - The Chapter 9 test will be Wednesday.  Take the pretest at blestarewe.com and you will be asked to write one way you can take care of God’s creation. 

*Wednesday -  Preschool-2nd Grade Music Concert @ 9:15. Each 2nd grade class will be performing one song. 

*Thursday - Mothers’ Club Hot Lunch - McDonalds and Spirit Wear

*Friday - No school for students

*Mon. 5/27 - No School

*Tues. 5-28 - Last day to bring in supplies for egg experiment project - See below for list of items needed.

*Thurs. 5/30 - Spirit Wear

*Fri. 5/31 - Last day for A.R. and it’s a Spirit Wear day (Last day of May)

Room 31 will be conducting a STEM project soon.  We are in search of any items that might help protect an egg from a fall. Please send them in next week.  I hope to begin this project on Tuesday, May 28th.  Some possible items might be:

• bubble wrap
• small cardboard boxes
• egg cartons
• pipe cleaners
• popsicle sticks
• Tissue
• Rubberbands
• cut up pool noodles
• cups 
• Sponges
• Tubes (toilet paper or paper towel)
• jewel bags
• plastic Easter eggs
• yarn
• String
• Tape
• Cloth
• sandwich bags
• Foam
• twist ties
• Cotton
• Or anything else that you can come up with that might help. 
  

 

Please don’t have them work on this at home.  They will be working in the classroom and collaborating with their classmates.
