Spelling - Backpack Page 35.

Math - Flashcards and pages 119+120. The Vocabulary Cards are coming home for Time. Please cut them up and practice them.

iReady - 15 minutes of Reading and 15 minutes of Math by Sunday evening please.

Communion - Chapter 5’s project is due Wednesday, 3/20. Write the Morning Prayer on the paper provided neatly in pencil first and trace over in a thin marker. The Morning Prayer is, God our Father, I offer you today all that I think and do and say. I offer it with what was done on earth by Jesus Christ your Son. Amen  

The prayer is also written on the attached paper. When finished, punch two holes at the top of the paper and tie yarn so that it can be hung on your bedroom door knob.  

Frozen Raffle Basket: This year the Fine Arts Association is raffling off a spectacular basket full of toys, games, books, and treats (plus 4 front-row tickets to the Saturday, 7:00 p.m. performance of Frozen, Jr. this weekend) to one lucky SJS student! Anna, Elsa, and Hans will be coming around during school this week to sell raffle tickets. Tickets are $1 for one, or $5 for 6. The winner will be chosen LIVE at our school preview performance on Friday afternoon. Thank you for supporting the FAA and the students in the cast and crew of Frozen, Jr!

PE students will be walking to and from Brooks Park for classes. All students have to wear their PE uniforms (long pants). Please check the weather on the days your child has PE. If it is going to be chilly, please send your child to school wearing a jacket and if necessary gloves and a hat. Please remind your child that they represent St. Juliana and they are expected to walk on the sidewalk and be respectful to community members at the park.

*We are working on researching an African Animal for the next few weeks. If you have time to look up some information at home, write it down on scrap paper. We are looking for: Description, Habitat, Eating, Predators, Family Life, and Interesting Facts.

Dear Families,

     This Sunday at the 9:30 Mass in the church is the First Holy Communion Acceptance Mass. After the Homily, our first communicants and their parents will be invited up to the altar area. The children will say, "I do" when the priest asks if they are committed to preparing for First Communion. Dress code is regular Mass attire.

     I hope all of you can come.

     Also, First Communion forms and fees are due next week.

Communion - The Chapter 4 project is coming home and due by Wednesday, 3/13. Use the top paper as a guide. Use the white construction paper to draw and color the flowers. At the top write, God’s Word Takes Root in Us. Draw six lines and answer the question, What are some things you can do for God’s Word to take root in you? Some examples can be; help out more at home, be kind, be more responsible, etc…  Write your name on the front bottom right side.  

Tomorrow - 2:00 dismissal

Friday - Report Cards go home; sign and return the envelope.

Everyone is taking home some green math pages to study for the test next week Wednesday 2/28.  Yesterday, they took home pages 267-268 and today they are taking home pages 269-270.  Please review them.  Monday we will send home the red pages to review for the test as well. 

Spelling - Backpack Pages 21 + 22 (Snack Attack Recipe) and study for tomorrow’s test. Backpack Page 23 will be coming home tomorrow for next week’s Spelling test on Thursday, 2/29. There is no school 3/1 for students.

Math - Flashcards and study the review pages coming home for the Topic 6 test on Wednesday, 2/28.
