*Book fair fliers are coming home today.  Join us for the Open House and shop as a family this Sunday, 1/26/25 from 10:30am to 12:00pm.  Preview day is Monday, 1/27/25 (8am – 3:30pm) and wish lists will come home.  Students will shop as a class Tuesday, 1/28/25 through Thursday 1/30/25 (8am – 3:30pm).  Feel free to stop by at pickup to shop with your child any of the days.  Payment can be set up through eWallet (see link below), cash, credit card, Apple Pay or check made out to St. Juliana.  DON’T FORGET TO ADD 10.5% TAX.  Please consider rounding up for “All for Books” which benefits the SJS classrooms as well.  The book fair will be located in the School Hall.  Encourage your children to buy at least one book before trinkets.  The volunteers will also try their best to assist!

*The Timed-Test is coming home.  This will be the routine when timed-tests come home - if you received an 84% or below, please sign and correct/complete and return the test. Keep the test if it’s higher than 85%.  The goal is to see progress with the next test. So, if you received a 71%, then the goal is to get 72% or higher.

Reading - Reread Backpack page 66 aloud a few times.

Math - Flashcards and study the RED pages going home. These pages are very similar to Friday’s test.  We will review tomorrow and Thursday also.

Religion - Study for tomorrow’s Chapter 7 test. You will need to write out the definitions to Mortal and Venial sin and how you can obey one of the Ten Commandments. Study the Chapter Review, highlighted parts, and take the pretest at www.blestarewe.com. Bring your book back tomorrow.

*The Act of Contrition and a half slip paper with how to start off your confession to the priest (Bless Me Father for I have sinned…) will be coming home.  Practice these often to be prepared for 2/13.  We are studying these in school also.
