Boy Scouts
Boy Scouts of America Troop 965
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA builds character, trains responsible citizenship, and develops personal fitness. It’s a fun, outdoor-based program that teaches and reinforces the values of citizenship, service and duty to God. BSA helps youth grow to become productive, engaged members of the community and develops young men who are comfortable and skilled in the outdoors. The troop has operated in the parish continuously for 77 years. Boys aged 10 1/2 –18 are eligible.
Meetings: Monday evenings from 7:30pm-9:00pm. Monthly outings, weekend camping trips, extended summer camping trips and day trips are scheduled.
Participation: Parents/guardians as well as adult parishioners are welcome to apply for membership as Scout Leaders.
