St. Juliana School : Uniform Regulations 2006/2007
May 13, 2008

We expect each student to respect and comply with these regulations. Students are responsible for having clothes and articles marked so they can easily claim them if lost or found. All students are expected to wear their uniforms properly. Students who do not conform to the code will be issued an out-of-uniform slip. Teachers will impose an after school same day ten-minute "time-due" for all subsequent infractions.

Girls:
Uniforms should be of reasonable length, no more than 2 inches above the knee. Non-school uniform pants may be worn to school under the uniform; however, they must be removed prior to the beginning of the school day. Make-up, colored nail polish, artificial or fake nails are not allowed. Jewelry is not to be worn with the exception of wristwatches, small rings, and small religious crosses or medals. Hair acessories are acceptable but should be appropriate to the uniform. Scarves of any size may not be worn. Girls with pierced ears may wear one pair of small earlobe-size earring only. Ear cuffs are not permitted.

Boys:
Boys may not wear earrings of any kind. Boys' hair length should not exceed the eyebrows in the front or the shirt collar in the back.

Scouts:
Members of scouting programs may wear scout uniforms on designated meeting days.

All Students:
No student may come to school with dyed or colored hair. If they do, they will be sent to the office and parents will be called. We ask that parents help enforce these rules. The principal will make the final determination of acceptable dress.
