This beloved annual pancake breakfast is sponsored by our St. Juliana Tiger and Cub Scouts. In addition to fresh flapjacks and sausage hot off the griddle, coffee, juice and milk are provided.
So mark your calendars and plan to join us in the school hall between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 14. Tickets are available from your favorite scout, or through the parish office. This is the only fundraising event the scouts hold during the year and your support is greatly appreciated. If you're not able to join us for the meal, raffle donations are welcome, too - just contact the parish office to get in touch with the coordinators. |

According to legend, the St. Joseph Table originated in Sicily several centuries ago, during a period of severe drought and famine. The people were starving and all they could grow were fava beans. In desperation, they prayed to St. Joseph, the protector of the Holy Family. He answered their prayers by sending good rains and an abundant harvest to end the famine.

Abstinence from meat is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent by all Catholics 14 years old and older.
Fasting is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics who are 18 years of age, but not yet 59. Those who are bound to this may take only one full meal. Eating solid foods between meals is not permitted. But if necessary, two smaller meals are permitted in order to maintain strength according to individual needs. |

Weekday masses during Lent are held in church each morning at 7:00 and 8:45 AM. Stations of the Cross are held every Friday morning during Lent in church, immediately following the 8:45 AM mass. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fasting and abstinence from meat; Fridays during Lent are days of abstinence as well.
