June is a significant month for our parish. It is the month during which we honor the celebration of our very first mass in 1927. It is also the month of the feast day honoring our patroness, St. Juliana (Giuliana Falconieri.) This year, we're beginning a new tradition, as we christen June as "Celebrating our Parish Family" month. The inaugural event for this celebration will be an expanded Coffee, Tea & Thee gathering on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Please watch the bulletin and this site for more information about the festivities we'll enjoy that day, as well as other ways in which we'll celebrate our parish family throughout the month of June.

The Ball was a smashing success and great fun was had by all! We'll update you with the fundraising results as soon as they're finalized, but we do know that more than $30,000 was raised for our new science lab by the Fund-a-Cause. In addition to the $10,000 we received from the Mothers' Club, we now have more than $40,000 for this project! Renovations will begin as soon as school's out in early June. A great big round of applause and thank you to the cadre of volunteers that worked tirelessly for months to make this event happen, and to all the attendees who donated so generously! |

Like every other homeowner, we must repair and maintain our buildings and grounds. We share with you here a photo gallery of several areas of concern and estimated costs to complete the repairs. The funds to pay for these capital projects will come largely from our Parish Projects offering envelopes, which are provided during the months of May through October. The continuing generosity of our parishioners -- particularly in our uncertain economic climate -- is greatly appreciated.
