6th religion-Today we compared the Christmas story as related in the gospel of Luke to the account written by Matthew. Tomorrow we will compare and contrast Luke's and Matthew's gospels.
8th English- Today we practiced techniques for writing quick writes, paragraphs written in a limited amount of time. This is in preparation for the high school entrance tests, some of which require writing samples.
There will be a unit test on agreement some time next week.

This week the 6th graders will be continuing our study of adjectives in English class in preparation for the unit test on adjectives next week.
In religion class we will be discussing important feasts that take place during the Christmas season.
Don't forget that the quarter ends on January 13th, and yearbook pictures will be taken on January 9th. Also, everyone should complete the second quarter Accelerated Reader requirement by next week.
