6th religion- finish parts A & B of Lesson Review (if unfinished)
8th English- Preliminary outline form is due Wednesday. Study pages 371-373(direct and indirect objects) for a possible quiz tomorrow

6th grade English- Quiz tomorrow-study 10.3-10.9 in your English book and linking and helping verbs in your notebook.
6th spelling-finish pages 48-49. Robin Hood project is due Thursday
6th religion-Covenant People activity is due tomorrow. Be sure to color it.
8th English- We have begun to work on the science research papers. Preliminary outline forms are due next Wednesday. Continue taking notes and doing research on your topic. Study pages 371(direct objects) for Thursday.
The new barricade team,who received their assignments today, should set up barricades beginning tomorrow morning. Also, two important notes were sent home today. One lists the schedule for parent-teacher conferences. The other note is an order form for children's ID cards.

6th English-possible test on verbs Wednesday. Study sections 10.3-10.9 in your English books. In addition, study simple, perfect, and progressive tenses in your notebooks.
6th spelling-Robin Hood want-ads are due Thursday.
6th religion- page 78 written sentences on loose leaf is due tomorrow.
8th English- Ten note cards are due tomorrow. Wk. 10.2
and page 371 Ex. 4 are due tomorrow, also.
The sixth graders received their Bibles at the 8:45 Mass this morning. They can take their Bibles home to show them to their families, but they have to bring them back to school as we will continue to use them in religion class this year. Also, I sent home(with youngest and only students) a booklet regarding the changes that will take place in the Mass during the next few months.
We are looking forward to a fun, exciting Junior Achievement Day tomorrow.
6th grade English- Test on progressive tenses on Friday. Check Gradeport for the most recent 6th grade English grades.
8th grade English- Today students learned about strategies for taking standardized tests. Then the students answered sample standardized test questions.
Reminders: The sixth grade Bible service will take place tomorrow at the 8:45 A.M. Mass. Parents are invited to attend.
Sixth graders should have an old T-shirt to wear over their uniforms for art class.
Uniform socks should be visible two inches above the student's shoes. Please check the uniform code in the parent handbook.

No barricades today due to the rain.
Reminders: The sixth graders will be going on a field trip tomorrow. Students should wear their uniforms and bring a bag lunch, including a drink. They will not be allowed to bring electronic devices or chew gum on the bus.
The sixth grade Bible service has been rescheduled for next Wednesday at 8:45. Parents are invited to attend.
There will be a spelling test and a quiz on irregular verbs on Friday.
