I gave them one book we used in class, WE THE PEOPLE. I received the book free of charge because I took a summer workshop. I hope they will keep them. They could be helpful when they do the Constitution again in high school.

Looking Ahead!
We are considering two choices for the 8th grade graduation trip. One being the Chicago Day Trip that has been done in the past which students very much enjoyed. It would cost about $75. The second choice is a train trip to the Lincoln Museum in Springfield. Students would need to be at Union Station at 6:30 A.M. and this trip would cost about $30 plus their food. Students would need to be picked up at Union Station about 9 P.M.If you have any thoughts about these choices as an 8th grade parent email me by Monday 9 A.M.
