Week of April 2

Homeroom News: We had 100% participation for our Easter basket. In fact, we were able to make two baskets because of the generosity of our homeroom. Room 15 rocks!!!

Our next project is creating a basket for the Blacktop Ball auction. Some students have already donated either cash or items for the basket. Our theme is "Slumber Party". We will talk about this today in homeroom.

Just a reminder that graduation bills (or at least the first part of it) is due this week. It makes it so much easier if you return all the permission slips with the bill, which all of you have been doing. Thank you so much for that--makes my keeping track of things much easier.

8th Religion: we will be receiving the sacrament of Penance today. There is a quiz tomorrow on Holy Week.

7th Religion: we will be receiving the sacrament of Penance today. I hope to finish our study of most of the gifts of the Spirit this week.

8th Reading: we will be about 2/3 of the way done with our novel before break. We will finish the novel when we return.

I would like to wish all of you a very happy Easter and spring break. Once again, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful children with me. I am already missing the 8th graders and it is only April!!!
