Lucky O'Leprechauns

Kindergarten and First Grade have been on the lookout for lucky leprechauns! Our kindergarteners worked with their fourth grade buddies to complete some very handsome leprechauns. First grade wrote about a time when a wee bit of luck came their way. Do you suppose a leprechaun will visit you this year?

First Grade Herpetologists

The first graders in Mrs. Schnieder's, Mrs. Newes', and Mrs. Browne's rooms have been working on a multidisciplinary project about snakes. Each student researched a favorite snake, created an enviroment for that snake to live in, and sculpted and painted their snake and its food source. In addition, each herpetologist listed interesting facts about their snake. We understand that there is a very special project on its way! They even wrote and illustrated a page for a class snake book! Their book is now at the publishers. We can hardly wait to see and read their hardcover edition!

Eighth Grade Social Studies

nullDo you know which very active person was the 26th president of the United States? He was an avid conservationist. This youngest republican president's birthday is October 27, 1858. He even won the Nobel Peace Prize. You may even have a teddy bear at home thanks to this president! Our eighth graders know these facts and so many more about Theodore Roosevelt. Here we have some of the eighth grade students displaying their Teddy Roosevelt social studies projects.

Future Presidents!

Many Saint Juliana students have aspirations of becoming President of the United States! They thought very carefully about something they would do if they became president. Our nation and our world would be in very good hands indeed!
