Reading/Spelling - We are taking the Unit Progress test so there won't be any Backpack Pages or Spelling test this week.
Religion - Start studying for Chapter 7 test on Friday. You will need to write what the difference is between a mortal and venial sin and write one way you can follow one of the commandments.
* We practiced for Reconciliation today and Father Steve talked to us and answered questions that the students had. We practiced what to say and a slip of paper went home today with that phrase. Reading from our room is Vicki, Guy, and Peyton! Please be at Church tomorrow no later than 6:20.

* Please fill out the address information of the person (family member or friend) your child would like to send their friendly letter to on the form that came home today.
Please send a stamp in also. We will be writing the letters and sending them during the next week or so. Since they are so small, you might want to send the stamp in a sealed envelope or small ziploc bag.

* AR points and average are coming home today. The 2nd quarter ends 1/13.
* We had a great time at the Art Institute today!! Thanks so much to Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Ramirez for coming along with us. They gave each student a FREE family pass! You might want to take a trip downtown over Christmas break.
