Mothers' Club

Our next meeting will be Thursday, April 24th at 7:30 p.m. in the School Hall. The meeting will be hosted by the 4th and 8th grade moms. Susan Smolinski has a "Spring" theme planned for the evening. If you have any questions please call Susan @ 773-775-2534. Don't forget TRIP cash & carry will be at our meeting!

Our next meeting will be Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 PM in the School Hall. The 3rd and 7th grade moms will be hosting the evening. Morgan Ryan has a fun filled night planned for us! Her theme for the night will be "Luck of the Irish". Games of luck and chance will be played and many more fun activities have been planned for the night. So come out and join us and bring a friend! Postions will be opening on the Mothers' Club Board for the 2008/2009, school year. If you are interested in running for any of the three open positions, Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary, we need to know as soon as possible. For those of you who may be looking for more involvement in the school, this is a GREAT opportunity. Please contact a Board member if you are interested.

THE DATE HAS CHANGED!!! Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 24th at 7:30 PM in the School Hall. The 5th and 6th grade moms will be hosting the evening. Heidi Jimenez has graciously offered to organize the first meeting of the year! A Super Bowl theme is planned. Please come and bring a friend!

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 29th @ 7:30 p.m. in the School Hall. Beth Sugrue will lead the meeting that will be hosted by the 2nd grade moms. Since there is no December meeting a Christmas theme is being planned. We hope to see you there!

The first meeting of the year will be on Thursday, September 27th in the School Hall @ 7:30PM. Our Kindergarten mothers are hosting the night. Any member of the parish intrested in St. Juliana School is welcome to join us! It promises to be a night full of fun and laughter. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Mother's Club will be hosting a "Welcome Back to School Coffee" on Friday, August 31st, from 8:30 am until 10:30 am, in the School Hall. We'll be serving coffee, juice, bagels, etc. We will also be selling TRIP Certificates! This is the perfect opportunity to begin the year and get involved. Younger siblings are welcome.

summer is quickly approaching and so are the end of year celebratons for the mothers' club.
A few reminders - if you haven't responded for the end-of-year meeting at the Emerald Isle on Thursday May 31st. Please do so soon. It is always a great time and we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the fun. We will be swearing in the new board officers and it is a great opportunity for you to get to meet them.
Thank you to the 7th grade parents who have volunteered for the graduation reception. Set-up will be right after school in the gym. If you need to drop off a food item at that time please do so before 3.30 p.m. or call Mary Byrne @792-1618 or Nancy Ryan @775-3768 or a board member if you have any questions. Thank you everyone for making the Mothers' club a 'great success'!

The Mothers club April meeting has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. if you have any questions please call a board member. Also, regretably the Edison Park House walk will be posponed until the next school year of 2007\2008 if you have any questions please contact a board member.



Just a reminder that the next hot lunch day will be on Friday May 11th. Hot dogs will be served. Dessert day will be on Friday, May 18th and Rice Krispie treats are on the menu.

Just a reminder that the board will be needing a few key people to step into Board positions - The positions that are opening up will be Vice President, Membership Secretary and Corresponding Secretary. It is a great experience and a great way to get more involved with the School and kids. Please contact any of the current Board members if you are interested.
