Updates, reminders and homework:
Grade 3: Study your vocabulary, read the story, The Little Painter of Sabana Grande to someone tonight (parent, sibling, friend, etc.). Also, I am still waiting for the Moses test to come back from some students please make sure you get that signed.
Grade 4: Tomorrow we will finish vocabulary for the story and begin reading. The covers of your journals came out wonderful!
Grade 5: Tomorrow we will work on vocabulary in class, then hopefully will begin reading.
*Students have asked to use their iPads in reading class. You can buy the book on the iPad. If you allow your child to bring the iPad to school, they will need to leave it in my classroom in the morning since it will not be allowed to be brought into other classes. I will keep the iPads in my room until the end of the day when the students will pick them up to be brought home. We still have copies of the book in class so again this is not needed. Also, if the iPad is brought to class we have rules set for use.
Grade 8: Tomorrow we will work out writing three points to support the topic/issue you chose for your essay in class. Start thinking about those supporting points tonight.
Have a great evening!
