The class are really enjoying the learning theme outdoor fun. On Monday the children enjoyed flying kites outdoors!

The children also enjoyed drawing with chalk!

Room 6 also had a great time playing golf!

This week we also celebrated Joseph's Birthday! Happy Birthday Joseph! I will be thinking of you on your special day.

Ben's praying mantis, Buggy, came for a visit to Room 6 today. We could not believe how big Buggy was. Ben thanks for sharing Buggy with us today.

We also enjoyed the company of two wonderful ladies today, Mrs. Hutchinson, Liam's mum, and Liam's Auntie Paulina. Auntie Paulina was Liam Hutchinson's Mystery Guest. Auntie Paulina loved the children in Room 6 and often commented on how lovely they all were. Liam is a huge athlete. He loves basketball, baseball and air hockey! Auntie Paulina was a basketball coach so she loves to watch Liam play basketball. I really loved Liam's favorite thing at school, numbers! Well done Liam! Liam is the happiest when Santa brings him toys! Liam is such a well behaved boy in school I am sure Liam will be very happy next Christmas. The class enjoyed looking at some great photos of Liam. My favorite photos were of Liam and his dogs, Diesel and Bella! The children enjoyed playing with Liam's angry birds during free-play. Liam always shares at school and he was very kind to share his angry birds at free-play. Bravo Liam! Auntie Paulina was so kind and brought snacks, coloring books and crayons for the children! It was an absolute pleasure meeting Auntie Paulina, Kellie said Auntie Paulina had a super lap!

Thursday - FIELD TRIP - NO SCHOOL - Can we please meet at St. Patrick's High School, 5900 W. Belmont, by 10.10 am. The entrance to enter is under the white curved canopy. There are two car parks. Lot #1 is on Belmont. Lot #2 is on Marmora. To access this lot from Belmont, cars must drive around the block by heading South on Monitor. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have regarding this field trip.I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! All the children have been absolute stars this year and really deserve this special treat.
