We finished the learning theme, Families, by making a familly box Christmas ornament, and completing a piece of work in the journals titled 'My Family'.
Today we had the Girls' C Show and Tell. All the girls did a superb job! We had a car, Caillou, a coffee cup, cards, a Christmas Tree, cows, and a crown! Well done Girls!
Today was also Aidan's birthday. Happy Birthday Aidan! I think everyone enjoyed his mum's cupcakes!
We also took advantage of the weather today and went out for a walk. We went to see the stable outside the Church. We saw the donkey and sheep waiting for baby Jesus!
To launch our new learning theme, Community Helpers, we also met our Community Helper , Mrs. Mannion, the crossing guard outside our school. Mrs. Mannion showed us her uniform and how to cross the road safely. Mrs. Mannion was so kind to give Room 6 a bag of animal crackers! Thanks Mrs. Mannion for being such a great Community Helper! Room 6 loves Mrs. Mannion!

On a final note I will do my best to open the doors at 8.10 am and dismiss the children at 10.45 on the dot. I don't want to keep anyone waiting outside in the cold. If you ever arrive early at school please come in the closest door and wait inside at the regular door. Any help given to take the children's snow boots off and put their regular shoes on is greatly appreciated. If you are ever running late please do not worry. I am never in a rush to leave school, so take your time in the snow and ice. Any grandparents helping with younger siblings please let me know if I ever can do anything to help you.
Have a great weekend everyone!
