Operation Rice Bowl - Lenten Outreach

This Lent, Saint Juliana School will join with the parish to participate in Catholic Relief Services' Operation Rice Bowl. The students will each receive a Rice Bowl packet to bring home. Operation Rice Bowl invites us to pray with our families and faith communities, fast in solidarity with those who are hungry, learn about our brothers and sisters around the world, and give sacrificial contributions to help those in need. You may visit orb.crs.org for additional information.

Archdiocesan Distinguished Service Award

Congratulations to Mrs. Rosemary Granata, a 2012 Distinguished Service Award winner from Saint Juliana School. Mrs. Granata has been on the faculty of our school for many years as a second and fourth grade teacher and now as our Technology Coordinator.

Mrs. Granata exemplifies the best of those who minister in Catholic schools. She is a person who loves God, shares her faith with the students and staff, and works hard every day to enhance the learning of all the students in her care. She does all these things with a generous and loving spirit. Saint Juliana School is enriched and blessed by her beautiful presence.

Mrs. Granata will be feted at the Distinguished Service Award Dinner at the Chicago Marriott on March 11. Saint Juliana School is proud of all of our distinguished faculty members, but we are especially proud of Mrs. Rosemary Granata.
