Week of April 16th
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and spring break.
Homeroom: we are working on our basket for our donation to the Blacktop Ball. Our room's theme is "Slumber Party." Five of the students have already brought in a donation--either cash or an item for the basket. The students decided in homeroom today that they would like to make a cash donation and then some of the girls will shop for items for the basket. If they prefer to bring an item for the basket, that is fine. Thanks for supporting this activity.
8th Religion: We started a new chapter today.
7th Religion: We are just about done with the chapters in the book about the seven gifts of the Spirit. The next two and a half weeks will be very busy. We will be taking the Confirmation test probably someday next week. We will be making the name ribbons and writing letters to the sponsors. Confirmation forms are due on Wednesday.
Banners are due on next Wednesday. Remember that banners are optional but they do look SO nice hanging in church that night.
8th Reading: We should finish our novel next week. We will take the test on it and view the movie and then we will start our last novel.
