We will be needing student volunteers this weekend to help with Open House. Students will sign up for these activities tomorrow. I am sure that our students will be generous with their time as they always are.

8th Religion: We finished up our self-esteem activities today and will begin a new chapter in our religion book tomorrow.

7th Religion: Students informed me last week what they are planning to do for their service project for Confirmation. Those choosing to go to St. Benedict's Nursing Home and Children's Campus will start next week. Other projects have already started. Thank you for encouraging your children with this very important part of our preparation for Confirmation. We are continuing with our Confirmation books. There will be a letter sent home in the next few weeks with information about Confirmation.

8th Reading: We are making good progress with our novel. Students should be reading a chapter almost every night.

Have a good week.

8th Grade: If your son or daughter did not bring the release form from the school where they tested on Saturday, please send it with them tomorrow. Ms. Arianas and I have to fill out the recommendation forms and other information that the high schools need and we are not able to do that without the release forms from you. Thank you for your help with this.

8th Religion: We are working on a self-esteem activity this week for Open House.

7th Religion: I will be asking tomorrow about what the students want to do for their service project for Confirmation.
We started the Confirmation book today.

8th Reading: Make sure that your child has read up to and including Chapter 6 in the novel for tomorrow.

Have a great week.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the nice break from school.

8th Religion: Chapter test on Wednesday or Thursday.

7th Religion: Chapter test probably on Thursday. We will then start talking about Confirmation service projects and start the Confirmation book.

8th Reading: We started our new novel right before Christmas. We are reading Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None." Expect your child to be reading probably about a chapter each night.

Have a great week.
