End of a Great Year

I can hardly believe that another year is coming to an end. It has been a wonderful year and I know that next year will also be wonderful.

8th Graders: The last few weeks have been filled with activities and you were outstanding in every one of them. Last week was great with the Dinner Dance on Tuesday and Graduation on Thursday. More importantly, this entire year you have been unbelievable!!!! You are an outstanding group of young ladies and gentelmen and I have loved having you in class for the last two years. This year you learned about Church History in Religion classes and read six novels in Reading. Beyond all of the academic achievements, you have grown into great young people. I think you have learned a love of service to other people. There was never a parish event that we needed help for that I couldn't count on you over the last two years. You have been so giving of yourselves and have learned that it is a good feeling to help others. I hope that this love of service will follow you to high school and in your entire lives. I will miss you and wish you the best of luck in the years to come.

7th Graders: I think we have had a really great year. You have grown up so much since I first met you as 6th graders. You did an awesome job with Confirmation and in all of your other efforts. You have also been unbelievably generous with your time in giving to others through your service. Like the 8th graders, you also never refused the opportunity to offer service. About 10 of you have alredy volunteered to be helpers at the Vacation Bible School in July and that is so great. Thank you for sharing with me and everyone else your great talents. I am very much looking forward to having a wonderful 8th grade year next year with you.

Have a wonderful summer.
