ART- A YEAR IN REVIEW

It has been a pleasure seeing all of the children this year in Art class. All classes meet once a week for 30-45 minutes depending on grade level. In addition to the projects listed below, all students participated in the Fine Arts Association Greeting Card fundraiser, regardless if purchased.Students in grades 4-8 were able to use the mobile computer lab as well as the classroom computer lab to explore art web-sites. The 8th grade students finished the year with a research project studying the art masters. Also, students have the opportunity for free art expression at various times throughout the school year consisting of string art, free draw, origami, and use of other mixed media supplies. All students participated in the end of the year project for the assembly.
