Tuition Reminder

The first payment of the 2012/2013 school year was due June 25. As school is not in session and end-of-year papers might still be in those backpacks, we're extending the grace period until June 27.

Payments that reach the parish business office (7200 N Osceola Ave) or are paid online at givecentral.org by the end of the day (Wednesday, June 27) will not be assessed a late charge. The next payment is not due until September.

Please remember that if you ended the 2011/2012 school year with a credit balance, you received a pink statement indicating the amount of the credit. That amount may be subtracted from the June payment.

St. Juliana School Band

Congratulations to Saint Juliana School band students for their winning performance at Evanston Township High School in May. Mr. Mike Wallace, band director, said, “their performance really ‘blew us away’! The kids definitely gave their best performance of the year. We performed three pieces for 2 adjudicators. Since this was our first time entering this festival, we decided to take the conservative approach and do comments only rather than compete. As it turns out, the judges, not knowing that we expected comments only, felt we were the best Junior High/Middle School Band of the day and gave us the highest score!” Of course, we at Saint Juliana School, have known this all along!

Parish Participating Status Letter

If your tuition account was billed at the Participating Family rate for the current school year, a letter will be sent home today indicating the total of your parish contributions (Sunday, Christmas and Easter offerings) through the end of May.

As many people are unsure whether or not they've met their 2011/2012 commitment yet, as a courtesy we are sending the update letter home to every family, regardless of the total contributions to date.

Church contributions must reach the parish office or be paid online through givecentral.org by Saturday, June 30, in order to be counted toward the 2011/2012 participating family commitment of $675. Families who do not meet the commitment will be changed to Non-Participating billing status in September, retroactive to the June 2012 statement.

If you are already billing at the non-participating rate you will not receive a letter, even though you may have contributed to the church during the year.

Tuition Statements

The first tuition statement for the 2012/2013 school year will be sent home on Tuesday, June 5, to families who have indicated they will be returning next year and whose 2011/2012 accounts are in good standing at this time. The June payment must reach the school or parish office by Monday, June 25, in order to avoid a late charge. You may also pay online at www.givecentral.org. Please remember that registration fees and the June payment are non-refundable.

Final tuition statements for the 2011/2012 school year are also being sent home to families whose tuition accounts have a non-zero balance, as follows:

Pink paper: Either a credit balance OR balance due exists on your account for 2011/2012.

• If you have a credit balance, you may subtract that amount from your June payment; please include both the pink and green June remittance coupons when making your June payment so the credit is properly applied.

• If you have a balance due for 2011/2012, please remit immediately or contact the office for further information.

Blue paper: For families who owe less than $100 for the 2011/2012 year, the small balance was carried forward to your June statement and a courtesy statement is being provided for your information only.
