All Battle of the Books participants who have returned their permission forms will be having a pizza party on Wednesday May 27th. The party will be held in the cafetaria after school until 3:45.

The Chicago Public Library is hosting a Summer Reading Program for all school aged children. This year's theme is Land of Lincoln Readers. The program will be celebrating Illinois and Lincoln's 200th birthday.
Mr. McNally from the Roden Library will be talking to the students on Monday June 1st to promote this fun and educational program.

Starting Friday June 29th, the students will be able to purchase books from the Library Book Sale. All books are $0.25 each.

Friday, May 22 is the final day to return all library books. All outstanding fines and lost book fees should be paid by June 1st.

We will be conducting the annual book sale the first week of June. Students will have scheduled times to visit the sale with their classrooms. More info to come.
