Congratulations to Team 2 who represented us at the multi-school Battle of the Books. After a close competition and three rounds of attempting to break the tie, St. Juliana and St. Hilary were declared winners of the 2009 Battle of the Books.
This year we had just under 80 students participate in the Battle program.
Ms. Parkhill and I look forward to facilitating next year's group of readers.
Congratulations to Team 2 on winning the Battle of the Books. They will go and represent St. Juliana at the championship Tuesday, April 28th.
Congratulations to Teams 1 and 2 for being the two finalists for the ultimate multi-school battle. These two teams will battle each other to determine who will represent St. Juliana April 28th at the Championship Battle. Good Luck to everyone!
A huge "Thank You!" to Sandy Delaney and her volunteers from Mothers Club for hosting another successful night at Barnes and Noble. It's always a wonderful event. On behalf of all the students that use the Library, I wish to thank everyone who donated books. Your generosity is appreciated. The students are looking forward to reading the many wonderful new titles that are now available to them.
