Thoughts from 32!

Today is the last full day of school! I want to thank everyone for a great year. It has been fun. We have had a lot of good times together. I feel confident sending everyone on to the next grade. I just hope everyone remembers their facts that we worked so hard on all year long! I hope it is like riding a bike---you never forget! Just in case you start to feel rusty on them,ixl.com will run throughout the summer months! My subscription is over at the end of August. So... Also there is xtramath.com and kakuma.com.

I also sent home a reading packet that you may find interesting. It talks about each on the genres we covered in our Superkids program.Look for it in today's papers.

Have a wonderful summer and stay safe my little "chickadees!" I will say a prayer for each one of you! You are my SUPERKIDS!!!
Good luck in third grade and stop by and say "Hi" someday!

Love,
Mrs. Cahill

P.S. Happy Birthday to Fiona! LOVED that ice cream treat! That was delicious!!! I will think of you on your real birthday!

Thoughts from 32!

Our homework for tonight is:

Science--draw a picture of a pet you have or would like to have. Pretend you are leaving your pet with a pet-sitter. Write complete sentences to communicate all the things needed to care for your pet on the back of the white paper I gave you. Remember to include the containers to feed them out of!!

Handwriting-Finish all the pages that were introduced in school today. Up to and including the cursive T. Pay attention to the lines and watch your intersections!!!

FYI: Happy Summer Birthday to Kara. I will be thinkin' of you on July 3rd! Thanks for those delicious Oreo Cookie Balls! They were so yummy!

We have enough out of uniform passes to cover us for the rest of the days. Except for Thursday, of course. We must wear our uniforms for Mass.

We will begin to clean out our desks tomorrow. I am not so big on sloshing water around in here so no need to bring in any rags. We will use the remainder of my wipes to sanitize the desks once they are emptied out. You may want to send along an extra bag though to help carry home some things we may not need.

Thanks to Mrs. Schreiber and Mrs. Simonetti for a great year end party on Friday. That was a great surprise we made for dad. SH-H-H! Let's hope you can find it for Father's Day!(thanks for buying that for all of us!) The mini cones were just the right size! Thanks to Mrs. Konior for sending those in for us!

My sincerest sympathies go out to Andrew and Ryan who both had their grandmothers and great grandmothers pass away over the weekend. How sad. Your families are in our thoughts and prayers.
