Popping Into a New Week!
Next week we will be learning about the letter "P". Please make sure your child can recognize, print, and vocalize the sound for "P". We will be learning about discuss picnic foods and understand adjectives. We will also be working with our new memory words: for.
In your child's folder there will be a memory word sheet coming home. Please practice any words that are highlighted as they were unable to read them to us at school.
In the next couple of weeks, you will notice our assessments are getting more difficult. Please be sure that your child is reading the take home books to you because it helps them practice in preparation for the assessments, in which they have to read on their own for some sections.
On Friday, March 23rd your child may wear their Kindergarten t-shirts as an out-of-uniform day. Please remember on out-of-uniform days shorts are not to be worn until April 15th, and flip-flops are not allowed.
Please remember to turn in your field trip money if you have not done so already.
Please also remember we are looking for donations for the sharing Easter Basket and the Blacktop Ball class bin.
