We had a terrific first day of school. Mrs. Browne and I are enjoying your children very much.

Today, I read to the children a book called, "My Crayons Talked" and afterwards, we discussed how unique each of us are just like a box of crayons. They colored their favorite color on a paper crayon which is displayed on the classroom door.

Book orders are due on Thursday, September 2nd. Our classroom benefits from any book orders that you might place. We receive free books to help replenish our classroom library.

Parent Night is Thursday, September 2nd at 7:oo. Mrs. Browne and I are looking forward on seeing all of you. The children have been busy decorating the room.

It is time to say goodbye to all my friends in preschool. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Mrs. Wrzesinski and I will miss all of you very much. We appreciate all the help you have given us throughout the school year. We hope you have a fun and relaxing summer.

The last Mothers' Club Meeting/year end party on May 27th is hosted by the Pre-K mom's. The Mothers’ Club is looking for volunteers to bring raffle gifts to Emerald Isle on Thursday May 27th? If you are able to bring/donate a raffle item you can email Aimee Kelly at aimeelkelly[at]hotmail[dot]com.

We have terrific actors and actresses in our classroom. We performed the "Three Little Pigs" this week. We're off to Hollywood! Ask your child which part they had?

The next two weeks the children will be learning about Mother Goose for the letter G. The children will make Humpty Dumpty, Three Men in a Tub, Mary Had a Little Lamb and so much more!

Reminder no school on Friday, April 30th.

The ladybugs and caterpillars arrived this week so the children can observe them and watch the caterpillars turn into butterflies. Later, we will set them free outside!

The children decorated cupcakes with green and blue frosting to represent the Earth and learned some fun songs for our Earth Day celebration.
