Thursday News

We did a science experiment yesterday in the Science Lab called "Sink or Float". Ask your child about the different objects we experimented with in the water. The large pumpkin was the most tricky to make a prediction for. Ask your child what happened to the pumpkin.
On Monday, the children will be bringing home their Unit 1-2 workbook. Look for a letter to come home with the workbook.
Your child was able to take two readers home today. They are from our old reading series, and are theirs to keep. They provide lots of good stories to read for extra practice.
The Halloween party will be on Monday, and is being planned by the Room Moms. Thank you for all the supplies that were sent in to help make the party a success! If you have not yet sent your assigned supply in, please send it in on Monday. The children may come out of uniform, but no costumes are allowed. Looks like it is going to be a great time!
Have a great weekend!

Their spelling test results are in their folders, unless they were absent. Those who were sick will be taking the test when they are ready.
Tomorrow, Thursday, is an out-of-uniform day. The whole school should be wearing something red in honor of Red Ribbon Week. This is to remind them to make good choices for themselves. Jeans are acceptable.
