Don't forget that tonight is our Parent Meeting, starting at 7:00 PM. I am looking forward to seeing all of you there.
The children are adjusting nicely to First Grade. I hope they are enjoying themselves.
We have been gradually introducing all of our subjects and getting into the groove of things.
They have been to Gym, Spanish, and Music so far, and will go to Library next Monday for the first time this year.

But the best gift I have been given this year was the opportunity to spend time with your children. Each one was a blessing in my life, and I am most thankful for that!

I can't believe we just finished our last full day of school. A few reminders for tomorrow: Please come in uniform. We will go to 9:00 Mass and be dismissed from church. The children may bring an empty backpack to school. Report cards will be given out.

The school year is almost over! I am very proud of all the children for their hard work this year, and will miss them very much!
On Monday, we will be cleaning and washing desks. Please bring a sponge or rag to school. We could also use an extra bucket or two.
They are also allowed to bring a game to share that day.
I am also looking for the empty boxes that you get when you buy Tyson (or another brand) 3 lb. boneless chicken breasts, individually wrapped. They make great center or game boxes. If you happen to have one, could you send it in? Thanks!

We WILL be going to the park for our picnic today. Please meet us at 11:00 at Brooks park for lunch. We will be bringing our kites, however, due to the wet fields, kite flying will be your decision. One suggestion - bring a plastic tablecloth or tarp to put under your blanket so you can stay dry. Looking forward to some FUN!!

I am looking for a parent who would be willing to come in on either Tuesday or Wednesday to put together the kites the children have made for our picnic next week Thursday. Please let me know if you are available, I am guessing it may take an hour or so. Thanks!

Remember, there is no school on Monday.

New spelling lists were passed out today. All of the words on the list are contractions, so please remind the children when practicing to put in the apostrophe where needed. The test will be on Friday.
