As we say goodbye to August, let's hope some of the extreme heat goes with it. We are looking forward to seeing parents this Thursday evening, and the children have a little surprise for you!

We had a wonderful first full day today. Ask your child about meeting all the teachers and traveling from room to room.

Please remember to sign and return all forms as soon as possible. Also, children will receive their textbooks tomorrow, so if you wish to use the stretchy fabric covers, please make sure you have at least 2 jumbo sizes for Math and Science. I will check the other books for size. Some of the "regular" sized covers are too small for our books.

Welcome new fifth graders! Good luck new sixth grade as your journey leads you upward and onward! I was so happy to see so many happy and familiar faces and I can't wait to meet the new fourth graders tomorrow.

Please look through your child's docket and peruse the mail your child brought home today. You'll also find due dates for each form, but you can send them in earlier if you wish.

Don't forget that hot lunch doesn't begin until September 20th, and we have a 2:00 dismissal tomorrow.

Wow! I can't believe the year went so quickly. Thank you for sending your children to St. Juliana School. I hope they take all of their learned lessons with them to sixth grade!

Just a reminder: We will be going to Mass tomorrow, so students should come in uniform. They will be dismissed from church with their report cards and some papers for you, so please be on the lookout!

Thank you Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Coughlin for being the best homeroom moms ever! We had wonderful treats today and even have leftovers for Monday! Thanks also to Mrs. Bazarek for the Toll House bars. Students should have brought home their notebooks and dockets. We will be cleaning out our desks on Monday, so they will also bring home papers, colors, etc. then. Please check their Friday folders; these do not have to be returned on Monday.

We would like to watch "Sandlot" on Monday. Please send a note with your child or e-mail me with permission to watch it, since it is
Disney but PG. Thank you.
