Important Letter - Social Security Numbers
On Monday, March 8, please be on the lookout for a letter that will be sent home with the youngest/only student in each family. It is printed on blue paper, folded and stapled closed.
The letter requests each family to verify or provide Social Security Number information for each student currently enrolled in all grades preschool through eight. This data will facilitate production of tax reporting documents for 2010 and beyond, that are in full compliance with state and federal requirements.
Additionally, we will be assigning each student a unique ID# incorporating the last four digits of the SSN, which will allow us to further develop our student information database and enhance communication and interactivity between families and school.
