Drama Club flyers were sent home yesterday. The drama classes will begin on Tuesday, September 7 for grades 4 through 8.

Just a reminder that parents may (un)subscribe to individual faculty blogs by using the "Subscribe" link near the top of the menu listing on the right-hand side of every blog page. Within 30 minutes after a blog entry is posted, a third-party service called Feedblitz sends the blog entry via email to all subscribers of that blog.

At the bottom of every Feedblitz email is a link to manage all blog subscriptions, including email changes and removals.

Certain credit balances did not carryover to the new school year on the September tuition statement sent home yesterday. Please check for your family ID # on the list below, and if your number appears on the list, a revised tuition statement (dated 8.31.10) will be coming home in backpack mail today.

Reminder: this Thursday is the annual Back to School Night for all parents of students in preschool through eighth grade. The school doors will open at 7:00 P.M. Please join Father Kanonik and Mrs. Barton in the gym for welcoming comments. The first classroom session will begin at approximately 7:15 P.M. The second session will begin 30 minutes later at 7:45 P.M. with a third session following at 8:15 P.M. Meet the teachers and learn about curriculum, behavior expectations, schedules, homework, contact information, etc. Additional details about this meeting will be sent home tomorrow in "backpack" mail.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade may be out of uniform tomorrow, Tuesday, because of the high temperatures. They may also bring water bottles.

FSP September and October lunch order forms were sent home today. Both order forms should be returned to school by Friday, September 3. Please send separate checks for September and October if ordering for both months. The forms and the checks may be placed in a clear plastic bag or stapled.

FSP hot lunch is also available for three and four-year-old preschoolers who stay for Preschool Extended Day.

Girl’s Basketball, grades 5 through 8, meets tomorrow, August 26 in the school gym.
6th grade: 3:00 – 4:30 P.M.
5th grade: 4:30 – 6:00 P.M.
7th grade: 6:00 – 7:30 P.M.
8th grade: 7:30 – 9:00 P.M.

Cheerleading begins tomorrow! All interested girls in grades 5 though 8 will meet after school tomorrow in Mrs. Lidgus’ room from 3:30 – 4:30 P.M. Information about the 5th and 6th grade squad, the 7th and 8th grade squad, practice times, and game dates will be given out at the meeting.

Some notes about the September statements, which will be sent home on Monday, August 30. Please note that these are general comments and may not apply to everyone.

• Credit balances remaining on 2009/2010 tuition accounts will be carried over to the September statement.
  
• Summer TRIP credits are currently being posted and will appear on this statement.
  
• Families who did not meet their Participating Family contribution commitment of $675 to the church last year will be changed to the Non-Participating rate, retroactive to the June 1 statement.
  

As always, the tuition statements are printed on green paper, folded and stapled and sent home with the youngest/only student.
