Reminder: Gently used uniforms are exchanged or purchased at a low cost today from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Parish Lounge.

St. Juliana School Uniform Exchange and Sale will take place this Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.  in the Parish Lounge.  Bring your used uniforms to “exchange” and there will be used uniforms to purchase.

If you have used uniforms you would like to donate please send them to the school office.

Volunteers are needed. Please contact Theresa Simonetti at tkaust[at]juno[dot]com.

Starting Monday, June 10, the TRIP Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am - 10:00am. Orders will be placed on Mondays. No orders will be filled on Friday. All online orders will be filled and placed in the parish office for pickup during regular business hours. Saint Juliana families earned over $2,500 in tuition credits for the month of June. For information on this program, call Lynn Gibbons at 773-631-4127 x 25.

Due to the rain, Kindergarten picnic will be in the school gym from 9:00am to 10:30am.

Yearbooks were sent home yesterday and today. Please email me if you did not receive your book. Thank you.

If you have a non-zero balance (either a balance due or credit balance) for the current school year, you will receive a final statement today. A hard copy on pink paper is being sent home with the youngest/only student and a courtesy copy is also being sent via email. Payment information is current through 5/31/13; if you made a payment after that date it may not yet have been posted. 

You may subtract the amount of a credit balance from your June payment for 2013/2014. An outstanding balance is due immediately. All payments received will be posted to an existing balance for 2012/2013 before they can be applied toward the next school year.

Any family that has a non-zero balance will receive a final tuition statement for the current school year. It will be printed on pink paper and sent home with the youngest/only student this week.

If you do not receive a final pink statement, it means you have a zero balance for the 2012/2013 school year and the following notes do not apply.

• Any outstanding balance is due immediately and must be paid in full before enrollment for 2013/2014 can be confirmed.
• If you are ending the current year with a credit balance, you may subtract that amount from your June payment for the new year. Credit balances remaining after June 30 will be carried forward to the September statement.

As previously announced, we are introducing a new Enrollment and Tuition Agreement effective with the 2013/2014 school year. The agreement, accompanied by your June tuition statement, is being sent home with the youngest/only student today, to families whose tuition account is in good standing for the current year. If you do not receive these documents today, please contact the school office for more information.

• Your Enrollment and Tuition Agreement must be signed and the white copy returned to the school office, along with your June payment, no later than June 25, 2013, for your enrollment to be complete. Retain the yellow copy for your records. 
• Please carefully review your June tuition statement to ensure we are billing you for the correct number of students and at the correct rate (participating or non-participating.) Refer to the 2013/2014 tuition schedule as needed.
• The June payment is always non-refundable.
• Financial need application notifications will be sent after June 15. Any amounts awarded will be retroactively applied to the June statement.
• Lunch aide credits for May-June will be posted to your September statement.
• If your family has a balance due for the 2012/2013 school year, we will apply all payments received toward those outstanding balances first.

For your convenience and to confirm that we have an accurate primary email address on file, we will also email a copy of the June statement to you. Subsequent tuition statements (September 2013 through May 2013) will be sent via email every month.

We will bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Kathleen Barton at our noon mass on Sunday, June 2.

Immediately following mass there will be a reception for Mrs. Barton in the Ahearn Activity Center, in conjunction with the Family FUNraiser that continues until 4:00 in the parking lot.

This summer Vacation Bible School is being held the week of July 22 – 26, 9 am - noon. 

This year, we have a shortage of volunteers to help with the children. This program is viable because of the volunteers who generously give of their time.  If you are Virtus trained, have a love of music, crafts or drama and would like to give a few hours each morning the week of July 22, please call the parish office, 773.631.4127.   If you know of a high school age teen who is need of service hours, VBS is a great way to earn them.
