  • Where are you located?

    Our four buildings (church, business office/chapel, school and rectory) are located along Touhy Avenue on the far northwest side of Chicago. You can find a detailed map and directions here.

  • What times are your masses?

    Sunday mass begins with a Saturday 5:00pm mass, and continues with 7:30, 9:30, 11:00am and 5:00pm on Sundays. Please visit our Mass Schedule for additional information.

  • How do we arrange a baptism for our child?

    Baptismal arrangements may be made by contacting our parish office. We also encourage you to first read more about preparing for the sacrament of Baptism.

  • How do I make wedding arrangments?

    Couples planning to be married in our church should call the business office (773.631.4127) at least six months in advance to make an appointment to meet with a priest. Couples are required to participate in a Pre-Cana program sponsored by St. Juliana or the Archdiocese of Chicago. Please also read about marriage at Saint Juliana Parish for additional information.

  • Where do I send an item or ad for the bulletin?

    Parish groups may request publication of news and upcoming events in our weekly bulletin and events calendar using this online form. Business who wish to place a recurring advertisement in our bulletins should contact the publisher, J.S. Paluch for rates and information.

  • Can I request a message be displayed on the electronic sign?

    Messages about parish-related events (church, school, CCD, scouting and auxiliary groups) can be requested using the online form here.

  • Can I schedule a memorial or anniversary mass in the chapel?

    Yes, please contact our parish office to determine availability and make arrangements with a priest. You may also bring in your own priest mass celebrant.

  • Can I rent your gym? School hall? Parish center?

    Our facilities are reserved well in advance by parish groups and availability is very limited. Occasionally there may be space open for private events hosted by registered parishioners. Please contact Diane Holmen in the parish office to determine availability and requirements. Pending approval, there is a fee to use a facility and purchase of a liability insurance rider is required; a security deposit for cleaning and repairs may also be required.   • How do I stop receiving church offering envelopes?

    Registered parishioners are encouraged to donate electroncially through the convenience of GiveCentral, in which case weekly offering envelopes are not needed. To modify or cancel your envelope mailing schedule please contact the parish office. Offering envelopes are a large expense for the parish and we greatly appreciate your use of GiveCentral for recurring donations.

  • Can I have Holy Communion brought to me at home?

    In addition to several priests who are available to deliver the Blessed Sacrament to the homebound, our parish has a dedicated team of Ministers of Care who visit area hospitals and nursing homes to share the Eucharist. Please contact the parish office to make arrangements.

  • How do I go to Confession?

    We have regular scheduled opportunities to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation and you may also contact a priest to make an appointment. If it's been a while and you'd like a refresher, here's a comprehensive guide that you are encouraged to read and bring with you.

  • How do I request a mass intention for someone and buy a mass card?

    Please contact the parish office to schedule your desired date and select a mass card. Suggested donation is $10 per mass.

  • How do I donate things to the parish?

    Please contact the parish office to discuss donations of large items (home or office furniture, appliances, TVs, electronics, etc.)

  • Are you a 501(c)3 organization?

    Yes. St. Juliana Parish is legally under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Chicago, whose legal name is Catholic Bishop of Chicago, Corporation Sole. The Archdiocese in turn is within the group legally organized as the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), which has been granted official 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service. Our 501(c)3 Group Ruling status issued to the USCCB is updated each year and can be used to substantiate tax-deductible donations to the parish or school.

Chapel and Parish Center

The chapel, parish business office, religious education (CCD) office and several meeting rooms are housed in this building. The main entrance door is on Osceola Avenue at the south end of the building (closest to Touhy.) Street parking on Osceola is available, and in the parking lot behind the school. The building is not handicap-accessible, there are are short steps for entry.

The main entrance is on Osceola Avenue, at the south end of the building, closest to Touhy Avenue. Limited street parking is available; the parking lot north of the building provides ample parking. There is a handicap-accessible entrance on Oketo Avenue, through the connected Ahearn Activity Center.

The main entrance doors are on Oketo Avenue and there are also two side entrances on Touhy Avenue. Street parking is available on Oketo, and also in the parking lot behind (north of) the school. The main entrance is ramped for handicap access however there are no ADA-compliant restroom facilities in the church.
Rectory

Rectory

The primary residence of our clergy, visits are by appointment only. There is limited street parking on Osceola north and south of Touhy Avenue, and in the parking lot north of the school. There is one step to enter and there are not handicap-accessible facilities.

Ahearn Activity Center/Gym

The home of St. Juliana School sports teams, this building also hosts weekly Bingo on Fridays and many other parish and school events. The main entrance is on Oketo Avenue and is handicap-accessible. There are ADA-compliant restroom facilities in the Ahearn Center.
