As Father Tom Donaldson reverently and humorously stated during our recent parish mission, the BIBLE is Basic Information Before Leaving Earth. It's also the framework of our faith as Christians, as well as a singularly great collection of entertaining stories that rival anything you might find on the big or small screen.
If you've ever been interested in a more in-depth exploration of the Bible and its relevancy to us as faithful followers of Christ, consider joining one of our Great Adventure Bible Study programs led by Rev. Steve Kanonik, Pastor. Watch the bulletin and e-newsletters for information about the next session. |

Special Religious Education (SPRED) is a very active ministry which provides guidance and encouragement to the developmentally disabled young adults of our parish. Through bi-weekly meetings these young adults are able to learn about their faith, socialize and feel an integral part of the parish. Once each month SPRED members serve at the 10:30 AM mass, allowing them to contribute to the parish community. To join or volunteer, please contact Ann Kelly (773.631.4127) through the parish office. |

Through scripture, prayer and sharing with others, the Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) retreat provides a wonderful opportunity for men and women to grow in their faith, get closer to the Lord, and to meet other parishioners. Currently the women's group hosts about CRHP weekends each year. We also gather at the 9:00 AM mass on the first Sunday of most months, in conjunction with our Coffee, Tea & Thee hospitality reception. Pews are reserved and all past CRHPers are welcome! For more information about CRHP please contact the parish office (773.631.4127) to be put in touch with the current program coordinator. |
