Tuition Policies

Tuition rates (2012/2013 Tution Schedule) are charged on annual basis. Tuition may be paid in full for the entire year, or divided across ten monthly payments for no additional cost. There is a $45 annual registration fee for each returning student ($95 for students new to the school); there are no additional fees, such as for textbooks, instructional materials, supplies or technology.

We have implemented a variety of programs which help keep tuition costs manageable. Your support of these programs, most of which require no direct financial contribution, is a vital component to maximizing their success.

Payment Options and Due Dates

Monthly tuition payments are due on the 10th of each month. Late payments (those that reach the business office after the 25th or following school day) and payments returned by your bank for any reason will be assessed a $25 late charge per occurrence.gc-logosm Tuition checks are electronically deposited and can be expected to clear your bank account the next business day; we are unable to accept post-dated checks. We accept electronic payments through GiveCentral on both a one-time and recurring basis.

Cash payments must NOT be sent with students; please visit the parish office to make a cash payment.

Financial Assistance

Saint Juliana Parish is committed to helping families obtain a quality Catholic education and is able to offer a limited amount of financial assistance to our school families for students enrolled in kindergarten through 8th grade. We have contracted with FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to evaluate applicant families' needs and designate award amounts from funds the parish will set aside for this purpose. It is our intent to focus on building the pool of financial assistance funds as we move forward.

For the 2013/14 school year, financial assistance applications must be submitted online to FACTS by May 1, 2013; award letters will be given to applicants by June 30, 2013. There is a $25 application fee paid directly to FACTS, however, if you have already established a FACTS account for a high school or college evaluation, you will not have to pay an additional fee; add St. Juliana School (our FACTS institution ID is 118768) as an authorized viewer of your financial data and your application will automatically be submitted to our school. All family financial data is stored only with FACTS, on their secure, PCI-compliant system. FACTS requires documentation and instructions will be provided during the application process.

Delinquent Tuition

A balanced budget is necessary to effectively run our school, and timely receipt of tuition payments is critical to meeting cash flow projections. A family with tuition that is more than 45 days past-due may be required to complete a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment application within 15 days of notification in writing. Once the school receives the FACTS assessment, a meeting with the family will be scheduled to review the tuition status, FACTS analysis, and any extenuating circumstances, with the goal of establishing a mutually-agreed payment plan to bring the tuition account current.

A family that remains past-due, does not complete the FACTS application and attend the follow-up meeting, and/or is not meeting their modified payment plan commitment, will be asked to remove their child(ren) from St. Juliana School.
