| Managing Tuition Costs |
|
We recognize the sacrifices that many families make in order to provide a quality Catholic education for their children. An important and ongoing priority for us is identifying and securing additional sources of revenue that help us keep tuition costs as manageable as possible. For example, commission/rebate programs indirectly benefit the school. TRIP is a win-win program for everyone as it benefits both the family and the school. Bingo and lunchroom aide programs enable families to directly reduce their individual tuition costs; contact the school office for more information. Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (TRIP)For 25 years the very popular TRIP program has enabled families to earn direct tuition credits through their everyday purchases of groceries, gas and more. We offer weekly orders as well as Cash-and-Carry for the most popular certificates, such as Jewel, Happy Foods, Home Depot, Starbucks, Kohl's, and more. Convenient automatic withdrawals through AutoTRIP can assure you're never without TRIP certificates for those necessities. Instant ScripNow! and reloadable cards through shopwithscrip.com make this program more convenient than ever. TRIP credits can be accrued toward Catholic high schools and universities, too! With TRIP, every family can be earning hundreds of dollars in tuition credits every year without spending an extra penny! Auxiliary Group ActivitiesOur parish is proud to have four very active groups whose activities generate income for various church and school needs. Your support of their activities helps underwrite a variety of programs that benefit our students: iGive.comThe Internet shopping search portal iGive.com provides our school with commissions for your online searches and purchases. Revenue earned from iGive.com helps reduce the overall operating expenses of the school, which in turn helps us to keep tuition down. Paper RecyclingOur school participates in the Abitibi Recycling program, which earns commisions for every pound of paper recycled through the collection bins in our parking lot. We diligently recycle in-house and encourage our families to do so, too. It's good for the environment and good for the school! Other Commission ProgramsOther outside sources of income for our school that do not require or involve direct donations include:
Matching Gift ProgramsMany of our parents participate in matching gift programs through their employers; some corporations match as generously as 3-to-1! General DonationsIs your employer changing its address or phone? Abandoning a marketing program? Upgrading furnishings or equipment? Consider asking for the still-usable materials often rendered obsolete by such situations, such as outdated letterhead (we print on the reverse) and envelopes; filing cabinets, desks, etc. Outdated computer and peripheral hardware is often not suitable for our needs, but we welcome inquiries; contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
