Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary

St. Catherina Laboure and the Miraculous Medal on the rue du Bac, Paris (1830)

The  times are evil, and misfortunes are about  to  overwhelm
France.  The  throne  will  be  destroyed  and  the  whole  world
convulsed  by  all  sorts  of  calamities.  But  come  to  the  foot  of
this  altar.  Here  graces  will  be  poured  out  on  all  who  ask  for
them, great or small…My eyes are always watching you, I shall
grant you many graces. Special graces will be given to all who
ask for them, but people must pray.
Have  a  Medal  struck  after  this  model.  All  who  wear  it  will
receive  great  graces;  they  should  wear  it  around  the  neck.
Graces will abound for persons who wear it with confidence.

St. Bernadette Soubirous and Our Lady of Lourdes (1858)

“She has the appearance of a young girl of sixteen or seventeen. She is dressed in a white robe, girdled at the waist with a blue ribbon, which flows down all along her robe. She wears upon her head a veil which is also white; this veil gives just a glimpse of her hair then falls down at the back below her below her waist. Her feet are bare but covered by the last folds of her robe except at the point where a yellow rose shines upon each of them. She holds on her right arm a Rosary of white beads with a chain of gold shining like the two roses on her feet.”
-Bernadette

Maximin Giraud and Melanie Calvat and the Apparition of La Salette (1846)

Do you say your prayers well, my children? Ah, my children, you must be sure to say them well morning and evening. When you cannot do better, say at least an Our Father and a Hail Mary; but when you have time, say more.

Our Lady of Fatima (1917)

“A lady, clothed in white, brighter than the sun, radiating a light more clear and
intense than a crystal cup filled with sparkling water, lit by burning sunlight." - Lucia Santos
You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to
end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father.

Our Lady of Knock (1879-1880)

“We saw the figures – the Blessed Virgin, St.
Joseph and St. John, and an altar with a Lamb
on the altar, and a cross behind the lamb. At
this time we reached as far as the wall fronting
the gable: there were other people there before
me; some of them were praying, some not; all
were looking at the vision; they were leaning
over the wall or ditch, with their arms resting
on top. I saw the figures and brightness…. It
was raining. I saw everything distinctly.” –
Patrick Hill

Our Lady of Guadalupe (1531)

My youngest and dearest son, these different
kinds of flowers are the proof, the sign that
you will take to the Bishop. You will tell him
from me that he is to see in them my desire,
and therefore he is to carry out my wish, my
will. And you, who are my messenger, in you I
place my absolute trust. I strictly order you
not to unfold your tilma or reveal its contents
until you are in his presence. You will relate to
him everything very carefully: how I sent you to the top of the hill to cut and gather flowers, all you saw and marveled at
in order to convince the Governing Priest so that he will then do what lies within his responsibility so that my house of
God which I requested will be made, will be built.
