Fr. Laurent Mhagama's term as associate pastor for our parish will end this summer and in preparation for his next assignment, he will participate in the Catholic Leadership 360 Review process through the Archdiocese. As part of this program, our parishioners have an opportunity to recognize Fr. Laurent's gifts and share their sentiments about his ministry here.

Our parish is seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministry to energize our faith community to 'Experience Jesus' through music and song.

The Director of Music Ministry is a professional staff member who has a thorough understanding of Roman Catholic liturgy. This person of faith is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and execution of music within the liturgical celebrations of the parish.

Our annual event to kick off Catholic Schools Week showcases our award-winning school. School leadership, faculty, parent ambassadors and current students will provide guided tours and answer your questions.

Enrollment for 2018/2019 is open!

We've got many admissions events scheduled that will be especially helpful for families interested in joining us for the first time next year. Mrs. Margie Marshall, our principal, as well as faculty and parents will be your guide for a tour of our campus. Here are some upcoming dates:

Tots & Company

Every Friday morning when Saint Juliana School is in session we host a casual gathering for tots (age 0-3) and their caregivers in the Ahearn Activity Center from 8:15 to 10am. Ring the bell for entry through the silver doors on Oketo Avenue, directly across from the church. There's a ramp for easy stroller access and plenty of room inside to park them.


Eucharistic Adoration

Join us in church every Friday during Lent for Adoration of the Eucharist from 9am to 9pm. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for Communion with Christ and the rest of the Church.

Every Friday in Lent the 8:30am Mass takes is celebrated in church, followed immediately by Stations of the Cross and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Stations of the Cross will take place again at 6pm; Benediction will conclude the day of adoration at 8:45pm.

Tickets are $50 per person and include full buffet dinner (ch,oice of corned beef or chicken, sides and dessert,) open bar all evening (beer, wine and pop) and the finest in Irish and American music and dancing entertainment!

Pancake Breakfast

Our Cub Scout Pack 3965 hosts their 50th annual pancake breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, March 4 from 8am to 12:30pm in the school hall. Tickets are $6 in advance, $7 at the door, and children 4 and under are free. Look for Cub Scouts to be selling tickets in the back of church as the event nears.

Kevin Matthews at Saint Juliana

Please join us for a conversation with Chicago radio legend Kevin Matthews to discuss his legendary career and his spiritual journey, featuring his new book Broken Mary.

This is a free event and complimentary copies of his book will be given to all parishioners. Kevin will then be our lector at our Sunday 5pm Mass, followed by a meet-and-greet and book-signing afterward. All are welcome, including friends and family from outside the parish.


3 Cs in Christ Discussion Group

Our 3 Cs in Christ are coffee, conversation and contemplation as we gather for monthly discussions centered around faith, formation, growth and inspiration.

Our March discussion will feature a special guest speaker, Chicago radio legend Kevin Matthews. Kevin will talk about his storied career, diagnois with multiple sclerosis and how a chance encounter with a discarded statue of Mary led to his book Broken Mary: A Journey of Hope

After Lent we'll move to a Marian focus with 33 Days to Morning Glory our May discussion.
