Saint Juliana Parish is here to help people experience Jesus.
We believe when you experience Jesus, you become the best version of yourself. You experience happiness. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome to our Catholic parish.
Letters From A Pastor to His People February 3, 2019
Jeremiahs opening, in our first reading, is perhaps one of the most heartwarming lines in all of Scripture: The word of the LORD came to me, saying: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you (Jer 1:45).
I dont know about you, but I find this very consoling. Pray on that line. God knows exactly who we are. He formed us in our mothers womb. He designed us and is with us always.
Its easy when were discouraged about our failures to think were alone. If we do see God (and the temptation is just not to think about him at allhes ignored us when were in darkness, we think), we feel God sees us as a failure, a disappointment.
But its not true. God is with us, knows whats going on, and has a plan for us.
On the first and third Sunday of every month during the 11:00am Mass we offer Family Mass.Join us on February 3 at 11:00am for this celebratory way for family members at every age to participate in prayer and worship together.
Saint Juliana Parish hosts a monthly gathering for teens and invites all current high school students to attend and join our Teen Ministry. Our next session is February 10th when we meet in church for 5pm Mass then head over to the Ahearn Activity Center for prayerful conversation, food (usually pizza or something equally good) and open gym immediately afterwards.
Bring your friends and spread the word! Students from all high schools are welcome and theres no cost. This is a great chance to reconnect with grammar school friends you havent seen in a while, and make new friends!
Every Friday morning when Saint Juliana School is in session we host a casual gathering for tots (age 03) and their caregivers in the Ahearn Activity Center from8:15 to 10am.
Tots & Company is free and open to everyone, parishioner or nonparishioner. All you need to do is show up! Its a great time to connect with other moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers to enjoy coffee, donuts and adult conversation while the little ones can have a playgroup of their own as they run (or crawl) around our spacious gym. We also have juice boxes and snacks for the kids.
