Saint Juliana Parish is here to help people experience Jesus. We believe when you experience Jesus, you become the best version of yourself. You experience happiness. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome to our Catholic parish.
First Friday of May
So much for April showers; everything's happening in May! We invite you to welcome the beautiful month of Mary by spending some quiet time in prayer and contemplation in the presence of her son, Jesus. Stop in the church anytime from 9am to 9pm.
At the 9:30am family liturgy this Sunday (May 6) we'll crown the Blessed Virgin in celebration of the Marian month of May, and the parish children's choir will lead us in song.
SVDP Spring Food Drive
Volunteers will be on hand at all masses this weekend to accept your non-perishable donations for their annual food drive named in honor of long-time SVDP member, Don Meersman. Interested in joining SVDP? They're meeting Monday, May 7 at 6:30pm in the parish center.
Seeking New Altar Servers
We are looking for new altar servers to join our ministry this summer. New! We are now welcoming youth who will be entering 5th grade and 6th grade next fall.
Serving in the church is a special privilege—it allows you to be close to the altar, wear the robe of baptism, hold the book of our Catholic prayers, carry the cross, and the light of Christ, and serve Saint Juliana Parish. To join, let your homeroom or religious ed teacher know or email us at email@example.com
The Pastoral Council is an enthusiastic, compassionate, faith-filled community that drives the vision of the Church. We partner with the pastor and staff to support existing parish life, to create vision, and plan for the future to execute the mission of the parish. Interested in joining? Reflect on the seven steps of discernment, and contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
But we will, with your help! The Teen Ministry would like to have a bonfire at some upcoming meetings (including May 20) and they're in need of a portable fire-pit. If you have one to donate, please contact Hank Lyon to make arrangements. And thank you!
Teens in 7th through 12th grades are invited to our summer camp of faith, fellowship and FUN. The program runs from July 8-12 from 7-9pm each night. Cost is only $20 for the entire week. Register online here.
The Missionary Spirit Team invites you to join them for an outing to FMSC in Libertyville on Saturday, June 16 from 2-4pm. Cars will depart and return from our parking lot. Reserve your spot today at fmsc.org with group code 1420950.
