Every Friday during Lent the church will be open from 9am until 9pm for Eucharistic Adoration. Stations of the Cross will be offered at 9am and again at 6pm; Benediction is at 8:45pm. All are encouraged to stop in be and with our Lord.
The books are here! If you didn't pick up your free copy on Ash Wednesday, no worries. We'll have them in the back of church this weekend. Please take one and plan to join us on March 4 when radio legend Kevin Matthews comes to St. Juliana to talk about his career and spiritual journey.
On Monday, February 19 our custom Under Armour online stores will open. Visit this link and enter code stjparents for adult items and sjstore for youth wear. The online stores close on March 5 so don't delay.
Our free program for all preschool-age (3-6) kids happens this Sunday, February 18, during the 9:30am Mass. Parents, bring your children to the Ahearn Center door across from church and our helpers will escort you to the classroom; pick-up is right after Mass at the same location. We'll have fun stories, songs, crafts and treats for the kids.
Last call for tickets—the St. Patrick's Party is next Saturday! Buy online or at the parish office now so you don't miss the fun (and we order enough food.) Corned beef or chicken, sides and dessert, plus open bar with beer, wine and pop all night. And of course the finest Irish-American music and dancing entertainment! All that for just $50 per person.
On March 5–7 we're hosting a Lenten mission. Fr. Michael Moore of the St. Patrick Fathers will offer three sessions, repeated each day at 8:30am and 7pm. Every session includes a Mass. What's the purpose of a mission? It's a time to reflect, repent and renew spiritually as we prepare for the glory of the Resurrection.
This weekend wraps up our efforts to raise funds for the ACA. Thanks to everyone who has pledged toward our goal of $53,000; we're getting there but we still need your help.
You may have heard that long-time AD Fred LaCerra is retiring this summer. He leaves an impressive Trojans legacy and really big shoes to fill, thus we've started the search already. Interested individuals are invited to apply.
Looking around today it's hard to believe we had a pretty significant snow event last weekend! Weather notwithstanding, know that our church is always ready for you: The lights are on, the furnace is burning, and the lot and sidewalks are clear. Please consider the convenience and security of recurring church donations through givecentral.org, so that even if the elements keep you home on Sunday, your support of our ministry can continue. If you would like assistance with GiveCentral, we're happy to help. Call 773.631.4127.
