Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Blessings

Our Father, we give thanks for the precious gift of gathering together with friends and family on this occasion. We give thanks for life, and the freedom to enjoy all of our many blessings. As we partake of this food prepared by loving hands, we pray for health and strength to carry on and try to live as You would have us. This, we ask in the name of Christ. Amen.
Saint Juliana Parish is here to help people experience Jesus. We believe when you experience Jesus, you become the best version of yourself. You experience happiness. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome to our Catholic parish.

Thanksgiving Mass at 8am

Thanksgiving Day Mass

All are welcome to gather with us at 8am in church for Thanksgiving Mass. You're invited to bring the breads you'll serve at your meal, to receive a special blessing.

Mass will conclude before road closures for the Edison Park Turkey Trot begin, so massgoers will have no difficulties navigating the neighborhood streets afterwards.

Join St. Juliana for the EP Turkey Trot

All parishioners and school families participating in the Edison Park Turkey Trot are encouraged to wear Saint Juliana School spirit wear or SJS colors. If you would like to walk with your Saint Juliana family, we will meet behind the Edison Park Field House between 8:45 and 9:15am along the alley, closest to Ottawa. Look for the green balloons along the fence.

For those who live on the route we encourage you to display a Saint Juliana School sign on your lawn so all participants can see. Lawn signs are available from the parish office, or you can pick one up from the back of church when you're at Thanksgiving Mass.

If you're not running but would like to cheer on the racers, please join us at the Saint Juliana cheer station on Odell just north of Touhy at 9am. Look for the green Saint Juliana School tent. You're also welcome to volunteer at the SJS water station from 9-10:30am. It's a great opportunity for service hours.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thankisgiving from us to you!

A reminder that the parish office will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 so that our staff may share and celebrate the blessings of the Thanksgiving holiday with their loved ones.

The office will reopen on Saturday, November 25 at 9am. In an emergency you may reach a priest by calling the rectory at 773.631.4386.
