Saint Juliana Parish is here to help people experience Jesus. We believe when you experience Jesus, you become the best version of yourself. You experience happiness. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome to our Catholic parish.
Parents are encouraged to drop their children (age 3-6) at the Ahearn Activity Center on their way to the 9:30am Mass this Sunday. There is no cost for our Sunday School program of activities, stories and songs and you need not be parishioners–all are welcome! Children should be retrieved immediately following Mass. Our volunteers are all OPCY-certified.
By the way, the Family Choir will be signing at the 9:30am Mass this Sunday. We hope to see everyone!
Do you have a Nativity crèche with special meaning to your family, or has been passed down for generations? We invite you to tell the story of your treasured crèche and display it for all to see on our Crèche Walk on December 9 and 10.
Everyone is invited to shop the Scholastic Book Fair being hosted inside our school from November 17 through 21. The fair is open to the public and there's also an online fair. You can find hours and more information here.
TRIP stands for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program and it's used by school and religious ed families to reduce their tuition costs. Rebates from gift card purchases may be applied to current tuition billing, or left on deposit for the future (high school and college, too!) Lynn Gibbons in the TRIP office is always available to guide you through TRIP and the ease of online and instant cards offered through ShopWithScrip.
Getting a jump on your Thanksgiving shopping? A friendly reminder that the Roger Hejza Memorial Food Drive is this weekend (November 18/19) and you might want to add a few non-perishable donations to your cart for the cause. Bring them to Mass this weekend and our SVDP volunteers will be happy to collect them. Monetary gifts and gift cards also welcome.
The Mothers' Club is hosting their annual Craft Fair and Cookie Walk on November 18 from 9am–3pm in the Ahearn Activity Center. Entry is $3 and includes a raffle ticket. The Mothers' Club supports many efforts throughout the year with proceeds from their events and thanks you for your support!
The annual Edison Park Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning is following a modified route this year to accommodate construction projects so please take note when navigating to and from our 8:00 Thanksgiving Mass that morning.
Also new this year will be the presence of our St. Juliana cheering squad. Be sure to look for our green canopy and friendly faces of all ages!
Many parishioners have been proud to participate in this charitable event over its 21-year history, both as volunteers and runners. This year's proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
