Have you had a chance to catch one of Father James' Tuesday night theology sessions? Always interesting and informative, these one-hour discussions are open to all and are not interdependent so please try to catch one as soon as you can. Next week (October 17) the intriguing topic is sure to be—you guessed it—angelic and demonic.
Recently, parishioner Mark Czarnik (AKA the Fertilizer King) did a masterful job removing the overgrown and under-performing shrubs in front of the parish center. Two new shrubs have been donated and will soon be planted, and our Boy Scouts are ready and waiting to plant donated bulbs and hardy mums. We need your help! Assorted-color tulip and daffodil bulbs, and red, purple or yellow hardy mums are needed to help fill this space with beauty. Bulb packages may be dropped in collection boxes at church and the parish office, and mums may be delivered to the parish office. Thank you!
SVDP Supports Fisher House
On the weekend of October 21/22, members of our St. Vincent DePaul Society will gather your donations of toiletries, personal care items, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, liquid dish soap and paper towels, napkins and tissues. Gift cards for Target and Jewel are also appreciated. These items will be delivered to the Fisher House, a home away from home for families of veterans undergoing medical treatment in VA facilities. Your support is greatly appreciated!
