That's how many times Jesus wants to us to forgive. Are you carrying a heavy burden of anger and resentment over a past hurt or insult? Why? It's so easy to forgive, #FrJames reminds us. So let "7" be your number!
Our Sunday Hospitality Ministry is responsible for welcoming each person who enters Saint Juliana Church prior to Sunday (Saturday evening) Mass. Our dedicated volunteers will make worshippers feel like they belong and encourage those in attendance to enjoy our Mass and ‘Experience Jesus’. This new ministry starts in October! To join or for more information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On September 19, Father James will present a theology talk on The Afterlife: Heaven, Hell & Purgatory. View the outline as well as the schedule for upcoming talks. The topics are not interdependent, so come once or come every week, we're happy to see you regardless! All are welcome to join him in the chapel at 7pm on Tuesdays.
Are you—or have you always wanted to be—an usher, sacristan, lector/commentator or Eucharistic minister? Then please join Fr. James, Fr. Laurent and Deacon Robinson in church at 7pm on Wednesday, September 27 for theological formation on your ministry. It may be a refresher and recommissioning for you, or a full training and entirely new commission. If you've been thinking about it, this is your chance! Questions? Contact Fr. James.
Believe it or not, our very first session of St. Juliana Bingo opened on November 13, 1940. We're gearing up to celebrate with special games and surprises the entire month of November, and a big anniversary Bingo bash on Friday, November 17. But there's no need to wait until November to play Bingo—doors open every Friday at 4:30. Like us on Facebook and Instagram for follower-only special offers!
Although 7 seems to be the magic number this week there were way more than 7 of them at the season opener of Tots & Company. The move to the Ahearn Activity Center was much applauded by the tots (and their caregivers of all ages.) Share the news with your neighbors and friends—all are welcome! Every Friday when school is in session, from 8:15-10am. Ring the doorbell at the gym entrance.
